Typography

36 Days of Type was a challenge I embarked on during 2nd year, where I designed letters and numbers for 36 days. This challenge enabled all designers to show their interpretation for 36 days with any materials they comfortable to use. This challenge also allows designers to experiment with new tools to expand their skillsets. Most importantly, the challenge was designed to show a celebration of typography.
The aim was to make them look playful with different widths and heights while being legible. The 3D idea came from my previous sketches and wanted to interpret it as a personal project. Furthermore, I used the idea of perspective, which allowed me to be playful with different shape sizes. This was later translated to 3D models using Blender.

With the freedom of being experimental, the colour palette needed to be chosen as if it is a personal choice. It was vital to have purple to contrast with black and white to make it look appealing and allow flexibility on each design.
